Convention speakers included former Congressman Tim Penny,
national IP party chairman Frank MacKay, Minnesota IP
chairman Craig Swaggert, U.S. Senate candidate Stephen
Williams of Austin, and state Senate candidate Jim Daley of
Byron. Dag Knutson will spoke on an alternate form of voting
called instant runoff voting.

Shelly Cooper, Elizabeth Englin (front), CD1 Chair Mike
Burger (standing), Heather Williams, and CD1 Treasurer Tom
Viken (back) work together stamping 2100 of the 3500
envelopes that will be mailed out to CD1 in January. Shelly,
Elizabeth, and Heather all joined the IP in 2006. Thanks for
your help, and for getting involved! It's folks like you that
move the IP forward!
