Ben has lived in Minnesota all his life, growing up in the northern suburbs and going to university both in Duluth and Minneapolis. He has been a member of the Independence Party since 2003, prior to that he held no party allegiance.

Ben believes strongly that Minnesota and our nation both need and deserve more choice at the ballot box. Minnesotans must be able to vote for who they want to be in office and not against someone they fear. He works to help bring the Independence Party to the forefront of Minnesota politics.
